Axion Data Entry Services is a full-service data entry and forms processing service bureau serving a national market. Established in 1996, Axion utilizes advanced technologies to convert large quantities of paper and image-based forms to electronic data usable in database and document management systems.

Utilizing a global workforce located in the US and India, Axion has processed over 500,000 documents monthly of all different types. Axion has provided services to banks, retail organizations, medical research facilities, universities, insurance companies, mailing services firms, direct marketing and database marketing firms, school districts, newspapers, large corporate enterprises, and trade associations wanting to outsource a portion or all of their data entry requirements.

Operations are managed from a single facility in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Here, client source documents, either hard copy or scanned images, are received. Documents received by mail or delivery service are opened, prepped and matched for scanning, and then scanned using one of three high-speed document scanners. Scanned images are transmitted to Axion’s production servers, housed in the same facility.

All data entry operators, including both those in the US and India, all of connect to Axion’s Citrix-based private network and key the required data into Axion’s data entry system from scanned image. Images, data, and documents never leave Axion’s facility, and all processing is performed on Axion’s system. Nothing ever leaves our facility.

In addition to traditional key-from-paper data entry, Axion also performs document scanning and indexing, key-from-image, and automated data extraction using OCR/ICR/OMR technologies. Axion will also provide for centralized mail receipt and processing.
